I’ve only been in one drama for the month of January, but I’m starting the year right with a very fun rom-com mystery in the form of Dali and Cocky Prince:
Dali and the cocky Prince
Dali and Cocky Prince is a fun drama that was a nice change of pace. It felt like a drama that would have come out 5 years ago in terms of style and tone which is something I really liked. Although it actually turns many traditional cliches on its head with a new spin.
I also like this genre a lot because it’s kind of a mystery rom-com. For the most part, it’s a lighter drama with humor, romance, and heart. But there is a more dangerous side that involves a mystery as well as the many struggles Da Li and Moo Hak face. We get cute personal explorations as well as a very beautiful love story.
Dali and Cocky Prince have a strong pace and are complemented by a cute soundtrack and great costumes. All in all, it’s a very good drama. (Review of Dali and the egotistical Prince)
