Which would you prefer to drink? Underwear, a fork, or tea?

Answer: The best tea.

I’m curious what language is hard to learn: Chinese or Korean?

These days I’m studying Modern Chinese grammar to try and teach myself to read Modern Chinese using Korean pronunciations. I’m not really interested in learning Chinese pronunciation because that would take too long. What I’ve found, so far, is that compared to Korean grammar, Chinese grammar is pretty easy. The hard part of Chinese seems to be learning all the characters and their different pronunciations.

So why would I want to learn to read Chinese using Korean pronunciations? Because it seems that it is easier to learn Chinese characters by reading them in sentences than by learning them in individual words, the reason I want to learn Chinese characters is because it helps me with my Korean vocabulary. I wish I was young enough and smart enough to learn Chinese and Korean, but I’m not.
